Introducing “The Learning Chair”
Starting this July, our “Academy Day” services will be provided under a new name: The Learning Chair.
This updated experience will be an expanded offer of discounted core services, performed by our new team members, with the guidance of our expert stylists to uphold Renaissance Curls standards.
As part of this relaunch, clients booking select Learning Chair services will also receive a complimentary treatment to enhance their visit. Spaces are limited, so we invite you to join the waiting list now for July and August to be among the first to experience our newest talents and offerings.

Temporary Service Changes
Limited Availability from July–Sep
Due to staff transitions and new team member training, availability for select services will be limited now through July. This includes a temporary pause on accepting new color clients until 2026, as well as reduced booking slots for silk presses, cornrows, and flat twists. We apologize for any inconvenience in the interim, and are happy to refer you to trusted salons within our network if you need last minute services during this time.
Staff Changes
A New Season for Zoe
Starting in July, one of our most cherished stylists will no longer be taking clients here at Renaissance Curls, as she enters a new chapter in her journey. While she won’t be offering services moving forward, she’ll remain an important part of our salon family as a consulting trainer, helping guide new hires in upholding our signature standards.
We’re deeply grateful for her contributions and continued presence behind the scenes. For those of you who have been blessed by Zoe’s hands, please know that our current team members are available to you for future bookings, alongside a new wave of talented stylists who will also be joining us in July. Your experience and trust remain our top priority.
Community Support
Tory Burch x Renaissance Curls
This coming July, Renaissance Curls Salon will be eligible for an interest-free investment that would allow us to put more resources into enhancing your experience—from training and tools to thoughtful touches in the salon. To unlock this support, we’ll need just 10 community members to contribute at least $25 to the cause. Once we reach that threshold, the Tory Burch Foundation will match it, amplifying our efforts.
Please note, every contribution is fully refundable– so if you’d like to be part of this new frontier with us, stay tuned for details in next month’s newsletter.
